Dear Students and Teachers, De groeten uit Houston! Our French language students do a study unit on French Impressionist painters. We first study several "old Masters" to contrast their style with that of the Impressionists. Pieter Paul Rubens is quite a favorite among our students and they enjoy his paintings very much. This year I also showed the film: "A Dog of Flanders" which encouraged quite a bit of interest in both Rubens and Belgium. Veel geluk met jullie projekt en au revoir!
