Kia Ora, Hallo!
Dear Students,

Thank you for your e-mail and your study on famous Belgium personalities. In our curriculum in art history we come across Breughel, Rubens, Van Eyck and Horta. But the other famous people from your country are not mentioned in our lessons. Sorry.

By the way, do you guys also have famous women? The list seems to be made up only by men. This would be another project.

Greetings from Down under, New Zealand. Have a good day.

Martin Gastinger, Teacher of History.

Thanks for your email.  I checked your list of famous people.
Unfortunately, none of these are covered in our curriculum.  The reason is that we only have students from Years 7 and 8 at our school, Hibiscus Coast Intermediate.  History is taught as a small part of our social studies programme.  The topics therefore are limited and focus only on people
related to New Zealand history and heritage.

Kind regards
Basil Carryer
